Are you a reseller or a hobby doll owner who is downsizing their collection?
There are so many platforms to sell dolls on. It’s hard to choose – yet if you can stay organized and on top of sales, you don’t need to choose – you can sell on multiple platforms.
It can be crazy-making to crosslist items – and stressful to think of a doll selling in two places at once. I have been using a software application that really does help reduce the time you spend crosslisting and increases your reach across multiple platforms. I do have to stay organized and go right to the software to delist a sold doll from anywhere else it is listed. But overall my sales have increased and my time is far better spent.
(I have found that it’s smart to put a sought after doll on one platform first, then if it doesn’t sell in a week or so, crosslist to the others at that point. Just in case it goes super fast – no need to do the tweaking of listings on other platforms if it will sell fast.)
You can try it out for a 30% discount on the first month. If you decide to drop it after crosslisting your dolls (or other items), they stay crosslisted! Once you put something on eBay or Mercari with the software, it stays there until sold or you end it yourself. In addition, any photos you upload to List Perfectly are saved, so if you decide to try it out again in the future, your photos and listings will still be there. Amazing!
Here’s what I did.
- First I joined the private ListPerfectly facebook group. I’m not a FaceBook person, so this was a bit of a stretch for me, but wow, am I glad I joined. There are tons of people answering questions, helping, discussing various platforms – it’s been an education! You can request to join here:
- I signed up for the middle plan, and transferred all my listings from each platform (ignoring those I had duplicated by manually copying over). Then I crosslisted everything fairly quickly so that almost everything was on every platform I wanted to sell on.
- Then I downgraded to the lowest plan (the simple plan) and worked with that for the past 9 months. It saves less time (you can only crosslist one thing at a time) but it also keeps all your photos in one place, and is a far faster method than cut & paste (as I had done before).
- I now decided to try the highest plan for a while. I really want to seriously downsize my collection, as well as work toward a more minimalist lifestyle in our home – so will be selling home decor and clothes and other things we’ve collected. It feels like a massive step up in reselling, so I will need to spend money to save myself time and get it all done!
- Yes, it is expensive. But your time is worth money, and something that can speed up your work and at the same time reduce your stress is truly worth spending money.
- Simple plan – $29/mo
- Business plan – $49/mo
- Pro plan – $69/mo
