I love dolls, and have recently started helping neighbors and family sell their old dolls. It’s perfect for me – I get to play with dolls, cleaning/dressing/photographing, but they don’t stay in my house and don’t increase my already large collection!

Every so often I put extra dolls of my own up for sale.

I’ve also begun to learn how to repair dolls – I can restring most any kind of doll, from composition to hard plastic to American Girl dolls. I’m very good at fixing AG doll hair – my granddaughters ask me for help all the time!

Goals for next year are to learn how to repair composition dolls (broken fingers, badly cracked paint/bodies, crazed eyes). I’d also like to get better at cleaning hard plastic dolls.
